Maple Ridge Golf Course has been part of our community’s landscape for generations, and it deserves to be treated with the respect that history carries. It is more than just green space, it’s a place where families have played together, where local tournaments have been held, and where many residents built lifelong memories. There is no need to rush into redevelopment when a site holds this much cultural and recreational value for the people who live here.
If I am elected, the future of the golf course will not be decided behind closed doors. The citizens of Maple Ridge will have a direct say in whether the course stays as it is or changes in the years ahead. This is your community, your history, and your land, and any decision of this magnitude must reflect the will of the people who call Maple Ridge home.
